About me

Hi, I'm Ryann, creator of Wild Violet Cross Stitch.

I'm a Graphic Designer who has been cross stitching for years. I love making unique patterns that match my style.

I design each counted cross stitch pattern with the process of stitching in mind. I'm not a big fan of confetti stitching (changing between colors often) and prefer to stitch with bold sections and a flat style.

My Process

I start in an app called Pixaki for iOS. It’s for pixel art and animation. I then export the PNG and import it into MacStitch to add any backstitching or fractional stitches. The export from MacStitch is then exported in the cross stitch format (on a grid with symbols and DMC colors)
